*The Cream of the Crop Legacy Challenge*
Ok, well thanks to Pinstar and creator of the Cream of the Crop challenge, which i thought are both wonderful Challenges( Even though apparently the Cream of the Crop Challenge doesn't exist anymore). Thanks also to The Legacy Challenge site: www.legacychallenge.com/lcnewrules.html. This is for avid simmers with Seasons.
THE CHALLENGE
To run a legacy through 10 generations running on the profit of produce alone.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO AT THE START OF THE LEGACY
1. Create a couple in CAS, any aspiration and personality you please.
2. Buy a medium lot, 3 x 4, which should leave you about 14,000 to start with.
3. Before you do anything buy an orchid tree (this is The Legacy Tree. It cannot move at all once you place it) and build one 3x4 greenhouse with roof.
4. Now you may put your bare essentials up. Note: You need $150 for fertilizer and tomato seeds initially.
5. Save enough money to set up your farming life.
CHALLENGES TO FULFILL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
~Purchase a compost bin - 5 points
~Purchase at least one ladybird nest - 5 points per additional
~Purchase a juicer as soon as possible ~ 10 points
~Purchase sprinklers - 5 points per sprinkler
~ Build up to 2 of each orchid tree or more - 10 points for any additional tree
~ Have minimuim of 2 children. Create on greenhouse for them to take care of. By their teen years, you must have an heir/heiress picked out. Send the heir/heiress to college (if Uni is installed) and keep the spare on the lot to care for plants. When the heir/heiress graduates (or if you don't have Uni) move the spare out/send them to college (or, if it floats your boat, kill them to gain a required gravestone.)
~Make pond and fish for profit (fish must be visable in water, so pond must be wide and deep) - 30 points once you have pond with fish
~ Mount one of each type of fish (and boot) on wall ~5 points per object caught from pond and displayed
~ Each additional tree above the original required 6 - 5 points per additional tree
~ If plant is thriving when harvesting/selling - 15 points per plant
~ If sim has all 10 points in Nature (Freetime EP) - 5 points
~ Earn gold badge for gardening - 10 points
~ Earn fishing rewards - each additional stage 5 points
~ Join Garden Club - 20 points
~ Recieve wishing well - 10 points
~ 2 founders created in CAS - 1 point, earned automatically
~ Each generation born except 10th - 5 points
~ 10th generation is born - 10 points
~ Portrait/Painting/Picture of founders/heirs/heiresses are hanging in house somewhere ~ 2 points each
~ Every $100,000 earned - 5 points
~ Every best friend created outside of family lines - 1/4 point
~ Every impossible want fulfilled - 1 point
~ Every Lifetime Want Fulfilled - 2 points
~ Every ghost type of grave on lot. The ghost types are:

Electricution
Cow Plant*

~ Family Business is created (must be created in the 1st or 2nd generations) - 1 point
~ Every generation the business is a level 10 - 3 points

~ Every generation the pet legacy continues (must have heirs/heiresses) - 1 point
**If the family/legacy breed is forgotten/stopped throughout the legacy, remove 25 points
~ The heir/heiress breeds with a stray - 2 points
~ Alien pregnancy occurs - 1 point
~ Each set of platnuim graves (all aspirations) are on lot - 1 point each set
~ 2 blue social bunnies on lot fight with each other - 1 point per each visit
RULES
~ NO CHEATS (moveobjects is only allowed to move stuck objects)
~ When a child grows up to be a teenager, you may not choose their aspiration. You must roll a 6 sided dice to determine it.
1: Wealth
2: Knowledge
3: Family
4: Romance
5: Popularity
6: Pleasure Seeker (or reroll if you don;t have Nightlife)
Also, you must follow those rules if picking a Secondary Aspiration (Nightlife)
~Only one of your sims in a house can work until they reach the top of their career. Then they MUST quit (unless you time it right so they can get a pension.
~ All Elders must retire (not quit) when they reach the top of their career.
~ No CC content Skins. If you are destined to become a plant sim CC may stop that.
~ You must sell at least half your produce, the other half will be used to stock the juicer or to sell at a community lot.
~ You have free use of any career or aspiration rewards (or other rewards).
~ You may NOT ignore a career question card. You MUST answer.
PENALTIES
-1 for each sim shrink visit.
If you manage to bring a sim out of aspirational failure before they break down and call the shrink, you can avoid this penalty.
-1 for each infant, toddler and child taken by the social worker.
Care for your children, no explaination needed.
-1 for each visit by the repo man.
Pay your bills, no explaination needed.
-1 for each Heir-Heiress that is expelled or drops out of college.
-1 for each visitor that dies on the legacy lot.
Unless they are an infant or a controllable sim, a sim counts as a ‘visitor’.
-1 for each Diva or Mr. Big brought into the family
These sims bring so much money it’s unbalancing. This counts regardless of how they are brought into the family (marriage, move-in or resurrection)
-1 per reload
If you don’t want your legacy to end abruptly because of the accidental death of a heir, or something happens that completely cripples the family. Rather than re-start a new legacy, you may reload from your last save. Every reload carries a -1 penalty. If you have to reload to recover from a glitch or bug, there is no penalty.
-1 per aspiration change
-You lose 1 point every time you use the Re-nu-yu sphere to change aspirations.
-You may still use the sphere to change turn ons and offs without penalty.
-You may change your aspiration during the sophomore year of college without penalty, as long as you roll for it.
-The only exception to this rule is if a sim goes FROM a normal aspiration TO a grilled cheese aspiration. There is no penalty for using the sphere for this reason.
-1 for each animal taken from the house by the police due to neglect. (Willingly giving up animals to the adoption agency does not carry a penalty)
-1 for every animal that runs away. If you manage to get it back into the family, this penalty is only -.5
Also, remember to keep a tally of all produce sold, so keep alert!
I'm currently working on this, so tell me what you think of it! :-)
Reason for Editing: Changing color codes and fixing things!
