Forum Rules One: Keep everything teen rated. Watch your language and what you talk about. Don't say anything you wouldn't want your momma hearing. You ARE allowed to talk about teen pregnancy however as I do not see how it raises the game to M but that's my opinion. AND ABSOLUTELY, no talking about drugs or alcohol!!! This is a teen rated site meaning we have many members under the age of 21. Please follow the Proboards Terms of ServiceNO flaming, trolling, spamming, etc. (With the exception of a spam thread posted by a staff member) Types of spamming are: - Smiley spamming. This means that you put too much smileys in one post. If you put an incredible amount of smileys in one post, then that post will be deleted will be deleted without notice.
- Posting the same thing in various parts of the forum. This can not be tolerated. Punishment will be decided, depending on the amount of posts.
- Double-posting. You can double-post if you want to bump a thread, but if you just double-post for the sake of . . . double-posting then that's against the rules.
Two: Do not plagiarize. If you post something in "Writer's Delight" or any other area make sure it is YOUR own work not somebody else's. Three: Do not post in all caps as it is considered shouting and we don't want anyone to go deaf or hoarse ;) You can post one or two words in capitals to get your point across if you think it is being overlooked but that's all Four: Please do not randomly change your user name whenever you feel like it. Check out the forum shop if you wish to change your name completely. If you just want to shorten it feel free to (that's free). (Like deedeexaswet becames just Deedee *just an example* ) Please, only one account per person - all moderators can view IPs, and we will disable multiple accounts.Five: This is probably one of the most important rules next to keeping everything teen rated. It is DO NOT PM other users advertising your forum. This is a big pain in the neck and is disruption and causes annoyance as this has happened to me on other forums. You will be LESS likely to get members doing this. Advertise ONLY in the advertising board. You may also mention your site in YOUR introduction but not others. 1st offense: warning 2nd offense: ban, no ifs, ands, or buts. Six: No hijacking threads What is Hijacking a Thread? Basically the thread starts off on one topic and ends in another. Let's say Susie replied talking about basketball and then Jane says "Oh this reminds me of that one time I went to girl scout camp" and everyone starts talking about girl scouts. We will NOT tolerate this. If you want to talk about another subject please just start a new thread. It's annoying for the original poster sometimes to see their topic about whatever it was to change to something completely different. Thanks for your cooperation. Seven: Please keep chat speak into a minimum. We are an English-speaking community and leet speak can sometimes be annoying. Example of a good conversation
Person 1: So guess what happened in school today? Person 2: What? Person 1: The teacher broke the desk! Person 2: LOL that's funny!
Example of a bad conversation Person 1: LMAO gess wat hapnned in skool 2oday?!!!!!! Person 2: waaaat?!?!??!!?!?!?!?!? Person 1: MY TECHER BROKE DA DESK!!!!!! Person 2: LYK OMG DATZ SOOO FUNNY!!!!!!! |
PunishmentsVerbal warning | PM and/or warning level raised | 1 day ban | 7 day ban | Permanent ban |
C-box rules - Be consistent with your user name, don't change it constantly--use 1 user name period. It doesn't have to be your screen name here but it should be close. (Like deedee90tass3 can be Dee).
- No advertising; 1st offense: warning, 2nd: ban
- No impersonating; 1st offense: warning, 2nd offense: ban
- Please follow the Official Rules as well. Thank you.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to PM any Simmers Dream staff member and we hope that we can answer any of your queries. Thank you.SD Staff

Signature Rules Some people's siggys have been been overly long. So we as the staff decided to set a limit, so it doesn't take forever to scroll down a thread with all the long siggys. Siggys now can be no longer than: 600 width (side to side), by 200 height (up and down) Example Siggy The measurement is in pixels. So if your siggy is bigger than the limit, please change it or we will delete it for you. 1st offense - we will delete it 2nd offense - we will warn you 3rd offense - you will have your warning level raised 4th offense - you may receive a ban Thanks, The Staff
